Chantal Manhart was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, and lived in Iowa most of her life. She graduated from West Des Moines Dowling Catholic High School. She then received her BSN from Grand View College in Des Moines in 1992. Chantal completed her Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in 1996 from Family Planning Council of Iowa. She graduated with her MSN and Family Practice Nurse Practitioner from Graceland University in 2005. She practiced in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for several years where she worked with breast cancer patients and started Midlife Women’s Clinic for St. Luke’s Hospital.
In 2007, she moved to Sycamore, Illinois and joined Prairie Point Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her special interests include menopause, bio-identical hormones, urinary incontinence, adolescent and preventative medicine. She is a clinical instructor for nurse practitioner students and participates in healthcare education events to encourage a more informed healthcare community.
Chantal and her husband have two daughters and reside in Sycamore. In her spare time Chantal enjoys family activities, cooking, skiing, horseback riding and reading.
