Sometimes, due to childcare needs, transportation needs, or other issues, it isn’t feasible to leave home for a doctor’s appointment. Now, you don’t always have to. Prairie Point Obstetrics & Gynecology is excited to offer telehealth visits. Using your smartphone, tablet, or computer you can speak with your doctor through video or phone and discuss your concerns. In many situations, a telehealth visit is all the doctor needs to provide service for patients who don’t require a physical exam.
During your telehealth visit, your doctor will ask you questions and share information, and you’ll have a chance to tell them about symptoms, concerns, and any questions you may have. The telehealth appointment is an excellent alternative to in-office appointments when scheduling things such as a follow-up on test results or discussing future treatment plans.
